I’ve a busy day ahead.

First, I’m babysitting my three lovely nieces. Then the president of the Berkshire Shawarma Appreciation Society is whisking him and I off to good old Golders Green for, well, shawarma.

After that, it’s back to Berkshire where I will be delivering a speech to the Reading branch of the Women’s International Zionist Organisation. I’ll post an extract from my speech tomorrow.

So just before I hop off to iron my shirt and bombard my body with energy-giving juices, I thought I’d let you know that an Israeli jazz musician will be performing in London next month. Eli Degibri and his band are playing at the lovely Pizza Express in Soho on March 6 and 7.

Find out more about Eli in his interview with Ruth Fisher, who helped arrange the London dates. You can book tickets to see Eli and his band play in London here.

Absolutely, Karl. In fact, I’d probably recommend that one read The Sadeian Woman before attempting The Passion of New Eve or The Infernal Desire Machine of Doctor Hoffman. Those books in particular are extensions of her criticism.
